Newton and Quimper Volley have a tough match this Saturday against Albi Volleyball USSPA who sit 2 places above them in the league table. After a disappointing defeat last weekend they will be looking to get back on their game.

NLA & NLB, Switzerland

Bertelli digging for Koeniz

On Friday Volley Köniz play Neuchatel, who are currently above them in the league table. Bertelli comments “it is an important match away from home that we are looking to win. NUC have had a good start to the season. We now have our 2 injured players back fit and will be looking for a win to continue from where we left off last Sunday.”

Osborne and Goulet’s VC Kanti Schaffhausen play on Sunday against TSV Düdingen.

Thom has a tougher match this weekend. VBC Cossonay play VBC Fribourg.

Alemannia Aachen

Bundesliga, Germany

Rachel Bragg

It is the last weekend of matches
in the German Bundesliga before a 3 week break. Both Aachen and Hamburg will be looking for wins against 2 of the top teams.

Hamburg play Suhl away on Saturday and Aachen are away to last year’s Champions Dresden.

DELA League, Holland
Taylor & Morgan play Peelpush on Saturday at home. Jo Morgan comments “after working really hard at training this week, we have a good feeling about the match”.

Rachel Laybourne

I Liga Kobiet, Poland
Silesia Volley play Gaudia Trzebnica who are below them in the table. After injury struck last week there will be a small shake up in the line up but Laybourne and her team will be chasing another victory.

O'Connor & Pieksämäki Volley

Finland
O’Connor and Pieksämäki Volley have a double header at home this weekend. On Saturday they face LP Kangasala and on Sunday LP Viesti. After a disappointing Cup Match mid week they will be looking for a couple of wins.

Reid attacking for Georgia Bulldogs

 

USA
On Friday Lizzie Reid and the Georgia Bulldogs play Alabama who they lost to last time round. On Sunday they play Ole Miss.
News from Beattie in Spain……
“After a tough week of training, we have a friendly against local men’s team to continue to work on our linkage and team play.  Next week will see us play a Superliga team from Tenerife in the Canary Islands Cup! This will be a true measure of where we are at as the start of the season approaches.”
